1984 FXST matching numbers and original 4 speed tranny. She does have a few upgrades as well but I think she looks good for her age.

Very nice. I am liking the mags. What are they from? Is that a 19" front wheel? Is that the original front end (other than the lowers)? How does that seat feel? I tried one similar on my FXRS and it was brutal. Maybe the seating position on the FXST has a more comfortable feel.
I have an 84. The chrome on the front spoked wheel is starting to flake. I spent last winter taking off aftermarket extended reach forward controls. Returned it to stock sourcing most parts from eBay. Also removed the 18" ape hangers and rewired the hand controls. They were a mess, and wrapped in electrical tape. It had these aftermarket spot/turn signals on it that would short out the ignition every time I turned the handlebars to full lock position. Replaced them with Chris OEM style turn signals. My bike runs great but I am still working on the suspension. I didn't realize how bad the shocks were until I went over an old bridge in NJ. I was bouncing up and down like a pogo stick. I tried installing a set of narrow body shocks but the left shock was hitting a transmission mounting bolt so right now it has on of the nre narrow body shocks and one old progressive shock which are no longer available.

I will answer what I can, this bike was built as a personal ride for an older Hamster. I will ask him your questions, hopefully he can answer.

Yes that is a 19" front wheel, not sure on the mags but I'm almost certain they are Harley ( If you are reading this please chime in if you know their pedigree )
The front end is original to the best of my knowledge. Edit: I did a little searching and couldn't find a match.
The seat sits well with the 19" wheel and handlebars. ( I'm short and 170lbs )

I have been scouring ebay as well looking for NOS parts. I'm finding few results so far. Luckily Tom goes to swap meets a lot and he will find things as they come available for me.
I would love to find a set of progressives. I have a hydraulic guy that thinks he can rebuild the shocks if I find myself in need.

If I can help in the future, just give me a shout. I will do what I can
