BD - Firestarter has that setup with the addition of the rider backrest - sounds like he is very happy with it and I believe he said his wife likes it too.
think I will be going up on first saturday - will get there early afternoon - have a friend that is coming down from MD that stays in Surfside/Murrell's Inlet area - I will probably stay with him saturday night and maybe sunday night as well - I can get back home in a little over an hour so I could easily do two full days and still work monday if I need too. Saturday night usually ends up with a visit too broadway at the beach (stool pigeons is a good starting place). I will PM you my cell phone number, would be nice to meet.
Showed my wife the BOTM pictures/contest and she couldnt believe hawgfoot wasntwinning (she knows a good thing when she sees it) I had to explain the whole situation of people voting by what they own, not by which bike is the better looking (notto say the other rides are ugly or dont belong there)
Oh well couple more days left, maybehe will get a bunch of last minute votes.
I hear you BD
Doesn't make too much sense. The good thing I could
see with all these second place finishes is that since
thereare not alot of Deuce's out there compared to all
the other models. And besides the let's say about 25
to 40 Deuce member's on this site. Alot of the people
out there that say they don't like the Deuce model for
whatever reason are secretly voting for it.
Theywon't admit a good thing when they see it. Damn hypocrites they are...
Does anyone have experience with Martin Bros pipes on a Deuce? Lobo, your avatar looks like you are sporting a set of Medustas but the pic is a little pixelated so I can't tell for sure.
I just ordered a set of WTFs and those suckers are going on come hell or high water even if I need to get some sort of bracket fabricated.
The reason I ask is I got a set of Ness slashers that supposedly fit all Softails from 84 to 06 but they didn't bolt up. The last thing I need is another set of pipes sitting in the garage.
The WTF's are tranny mounted so I'm hoping there will be no issues. Once those babies are on I can finally post pics which I have neglected to do because I don't have much in visual mods.
I better get those dang reflectors off too so I don't get chastized by the Deuce faithful.
