The seat instructions say to just lay the computer over on the battery. The seat has a cutout that will hold it in place. However, The seat just did not want to sit in right. Ended up changing to a V-Rod battery which is just a little bit shorter and slid the cpu down beside the battery. Installation looks very clean and there is no room for any movement.
Here is my 2004 Deuce it's mostly stock, except for the new tins from Atittude Custom Painting, I have a set of V&H Sideshots on order that I'll be putting on in the next couple of weeks.

Quick question: Did you go for the slotted fender struts with the passenger seat kit? That's the exact setup I'm planning to go with -- Heartbreaker fender w/ the removable 2nd seat and sissy bar.
