The thing with the rear fender is it needs to be slammed
down so at least the bottom of the fenderis flushwith the
top of the rim. Even better if you tuck an 18" in there.
ORIGINAL: Gigamark
I'm with you Kbes,
I love the Duece... but not particualy fond of the rear fender :-(
[sm=violin.gif]You know it is getting pretty old hearing about the REAR FENDER on the Deuce, come to think about it, it is the only negative thing people say about it. With that being said, I am very happy that is the only thing that is wrong with the Deuce.
Oh yea did I mention I LIKE THE REAR FENDER.[sm=imsmilin.gif]
I have to admit, the first time I saw it I didn't like it either............[&o]
I liked softail rear fender better, but it grew on me, now I don't like the regular softail fender so much... go figure..
It is very difficult for us to get original harley stuff in South Africa at reasonable prices, so I had my engineering shop to fabricate the turn signal re location brackets. Turned out OK, I think
Better than having them on the bars.
Any of you guys fitted axle covers with screaming eagle II pipes? It looks like the pipe is catching on the axle cover when I go over a big bump....
Dragway wheels, 200 rear, fairly tight to put into the stock swingarm but we managed it, lowered, V&H Big Radius pipes, Burleigh bars with internal wiring, Yaffe mirrors, PM controls, Hypercharger etc.
Bike in the backgroud is my wifes Yamaharley, shes only 4 foot 9 so its what fits her LOL
By the way has anyone tried Ness undercut pipes on a deuce, I'm interested in them but not sure of how they compare to the big radius in terms of noise, blueing etc
Keep those pics coming Spacemonkey and don't
forget to get a gallery going. Get some pics with the
outback in the background. I'm liking what I'm seeing.
