Hi! Here are some photos of my ride. I'ts a 2002 Softail Standard.
This winter I will do some more modifications to it.
One ot these things will be, engine and tranny covers will be powdercoated in glossy black.
Like the wheel set up tail11,thinking of running something similar on my Night Train, what size rims you got there bud andhow was the swap over, pretty straight forward?
New guy. Here's my scooter. 2002 FXST with 180 rear tire on 17" wheel, widened stock fender, V&H Pro Pipe, drag bars, lowered front and rear. Soon to have some Z-Bars installed.
Is that a 17" rim from a Dyna street bob? Is that the factory rear fender or did you put a 2005 - up rear fender on? If that is your fender how did you stretch it enough?
It's a chromed aluminum hoop 17x5.5", forgot the manufacturer, laced onto the stock hub.
The rear fender is the stock one cut down the middle and a filler piece welded in. The rear fender and struts have been moved out 1-1/4" and the stock fender strut covers have been cut, reshaped and rechromed. Sprocket spacers were made and the primary, frame and swingarm were all clearanced to make room for the belt. Visually you can't tell that anything has been messed with.
It makes great power and sounds nice with or without the baffle in. Obviously it runs better with the baffle in, but it sure has a nice growl with it out.
