Thanks, that's exactly what he would have wanted. A Vietnam vet who's love forriding thisbike was second only to his wife, he definitely wouldn't want a speck of dust to gather on it, and I'm more than happy to oblige.
well here it is after a winter of snow. i posted a few pics some wherein this threadlast fall when i rolled it in the garage.
i think im done. time to ride.
I've got a 99 Diamond Ice FLSTS. If I could figure out how to add a picture I would. Maybe I need to do more reading of the how to's...........any quick instructions.
ESD, what did you end up using to move the frt. turn sig.? Did you end up fabing something up?
Yea i couldn't find anything out there i was impressed with.
i think its ok.
all i did was took the sigs off the bars switched brackets from left to right and vica versa then drilled holes in the aux lighting brackets and mounted them to aux light bracket. they dont line up exactly under the aux lights but i dont personally like the options i had. i could have bought a kit but they only came with the turn sigs that you see on baggers. the round flat ones. i like the bullets so i improvised.
and the black tips may not stay. i have 2 sets one i powdered the other still chrome.
they actually look alot better in person, i think they sort of grow on you.
maye just different thats why i'm liking them
i'm paying for it so i guess i have all the say. either stay or go.
