Hoot, mon! What a beautiful line-up! My favorite Springer was a 2000 FLSTS. Kinda liked those buttons on the bags.

 

My new to me 2001. Excellent condition for 18K.

 

Anyone have a picture of their FXSTS / FXSTSI with an engine guard? Trying to come up w/ a method of peg install w/o engine guard, but can't seem to get position right

Winter project. Started with a seat and the Thunderheader.

 

Added Corbin seat, 12.5" Wild Ones Chubbys, Tall sissy bar and new front wheel. Before and after:

 

Just finished this latest restoration project. 2002 with the HD custom tins, 6K miles. I have a few very minor things yet to tweak, but all the big stuff is done...

took apart front end and polished every piece and put back on

took crappy OEM spokes out and polished hub and rim - by hand.

rust all gone, swapped out fixed side plates for detachable ones.



took to dealer with box of parts I found over the course of 30 days - rocker boxes, tappets, upper and side tranny covers, timing cone, tins came off and went to painter for buff and new clear coat...
