Awesome bikes guys! It's been a while since I posted anything, but I check it regularly. Lots of nice upgrades. Especially for us who live in the crappy weather states. But hell even Story is adding to his ride.
Anyways...I need some assistance from the herd. Just picked up some apes for my train. 16" Buffalo apes. Now I need some cables and wires. What do yall suggest? Is there a kit that covers everything I need? And is this something I'm better off just finding a mechanic that knows what he is doing? I have a little expierence turning a wrench or two.
You can reply here or shoot me an email (hdnightrain04@yahoo.com)
Also...anyone looking to hit Sturgis this year? It would be kinda cool to link a bunch of us up from the forum for a beer and actually see each others bikes.
Do it yourself. It's not that hard just time consuming. I went with Magnum Shielding for cables and NAMZ for wire extensions. As far as Sturgis goes, I would love to go but I also like to go to ROT in Austin and Bikes Blues and BBQ in Arkansas and I only get so much vacation time.
are you showing that fender covering the MH90 tire?
Yes Sir, thats a MH90 tire.
and tart. I have the Arlen Ness 2in dampeners in mine and i don't know how the springs ride but mine is stiff as hell, I hit a pot hole so hard once it jarred my hands from the bars. I'm gonna try some heaver oil next time. but anyway You gotta sacrifice comfort for style every time to be cool. lol
