I'm not in VA, I'm actually in NC, but not far from the border. About 45 minutes from Chesapeake, 30 from Suffolk, an hour from Franklin, if anyone is in those areas.
How far is "just east of H-burg"? Elkton? Orange? Ruckersville? I'm over that way alot come summer time. Just cruising around. If you want to ride some time, let me know!
Just east of H-burg is less than 5 minutes... Penn Laird technically, but west of Cross Keys on 33. See you're in Broadway... The wife works in Broadway.
Orange, Virginia here, am leaving in the morning for Arkansas, heading to a place called The Hub Biker resort in Marble Falls Arkansas, anybody ever been there?

Oh. You meant JUST East of H'burg. Literally. Haha. I ride through Penn Laird a lot. Turn there at the 7-11 and ride to the stop sign. Then turn right and go to Port Rd. Fun little jaunt right there. Yes sir, I live in B'way. Up the road from the rescue squad if you've ever been down this way. Right off Route 42 as you cross the tracks.

I ride that way to work every day. When you cross Port Rd., Shen Lake becomes Spader's Church and turn right at the next stop sign onto Pleasant Valley. I work in Bridgewater, wife in Broadway, so Penn Laird was a good middle ground for us without putting the kids into city schools.
I ride all over East Rockingham a lot. Nearly daily or at least when I have time off I'm riding 33, 340, Port Republic, Weyers Cave, Grottoes, Elkton, Keezletown, etc.

I was always wondered where Spader's went. Now I know. That's a very good middle ground, without having to be in H'burg and dealing with ALL the idiots.
Yeah man. I know from Winchester to Staunton and Fredericksburg over to Elkins in WV. I go ALL OVER the place. Plus, I'm from over past Elkins, so I know those roads anyway. But, I get around. A LOT! Haha.
