Can't ride for two weeks!

I have a herneated disk in my back and although it's not too severe and can be addressed with PT, it doesn't need the aggravation of balancing the bikeright now.
I told her I wouldn't take any long rides at least
Guess I'll be a regular rider for the time being, wash it, ride to have a beer and come home and park it for another week!
Hope you feel better soon - I wonder if you aggravated it at the firstconvenience store stop (I'll just leave it at that) - May have more to do with that then the long ride -

but this has been brewing for acouple of monthsnow, just finally got to the 1st PT appt yesterday.I can't do any big ride this weekend anyway due to previous plans and I ain't opposed to a couple of quick jaunts around the local area. If Sunday didn'thurt me, nothing will.

Went to the physical therapy appt. that I had yesterday and she tells me NOT to ride for at least two weeks![:@]I told her I was on the bike for about 13 hours and 444 miles on Sunday and she just shakes her head

Richard;
it is always a good thing to listen to your doctor.I learned this the hard way!
Back in the early 80's I broke my neck racing and the doctor told me
NO street riding for a year, NO racing for 6 months.. He told me I
could pinch off a nerve in my neck from bumps in the road or doing
shoulder checks and black out. I didn't listen and rode my street bike
on a ride a buddy and I had planned for months. First day out I blacked
out and rode off a 350 cliff (which rebroke my neck) among others
things!
Then theres sometimesdoctors can be wrong, like a few years earlyer
he told me I would never walk again from a motorcycle crash. I'm here
to say I still walk just fine! But it doesn't always work out that way!
So you takeyour doctors adivce my friend and stay off the bike. No
need to learn the hard way like I did

Heal quickly my friend"
