Could be worse. Dynamite could be lurking on a crotch rocket forum.... It shows he has good taste and likes Harleys! J/K Dynamite. Hope you get your bike back soon. If you really have one at all.....
Last week, simcom pointed out that my tire looked low. Sure enough it was low. VERY low. I guess from riding around with the tire low I wore it out really quick. Now, I'm starting get a little head shake from time to time. I felt the wobble about 4 times while I was riding on Saturday. Probably best to not push my luck any further and just stay off the bike until I can get it fixed. Luckily this issue came up at the same time I need my 5k mile service, so my bike won't have to be down twoseparate times. It's hopefully going to get put on the dyno as well so I can get my bike dialed in right since I put that aircleaner on it. Mrs. Live2Ride's bike needs to go in for the 1k mile service and needs to be dyno'd as well after getting the stage 1 kit put in. Ideally, our bikes will be in at the same time and won't be down for too long. I hate missing valuable riding time. But the weather already isn't lookin' good this week, so I'm not too down on not being able to ride.
Stories like this are why I always tell my customers to check their tires before every ride. Which in my case is every day because I ride every day no matter what the weather is!
Everyone needs to learn from stories like yours..
