Any one know if Eddies has re-opened the service shop at a new location? I need to get the SuperGlide serviced and if he still has a shop in Huntersville, I rather drive there than down to Monroe.
Lat I heard, their new location was somewhere on highway 21 but when I asked where, this was treated like it was top secret. It's been about 3 months since I asked. Not sure about the move.
I know this is old but I rode by the new location on the way to see a customer. He's on highway 21 just south of where Harris Blvd. crosses. Get off I-77 at exit 18, go to 21 and turn right ( south ). Eddie's is down about 1/4-1/2 mile on the right. This morning there was a big Metzler banner on the front of the building. It was early when I went by so they weren't open yet or I would have stopped in.
If coming from the north on 77 take the Gilead exit (23), on Gilead go east (a left turn) to Statesville road (21) and take that south for about a mile - Easy Eddie's on right hand side (past the dealerships)
If coming from the south on 77 take the WT Harris exit (18), on WT Harris go east (right turn - away from mall) to Statesville road (21) and take that north for about 2.5 miles - Easy Eddie's on left hand side.
