Kel & I just pulled in. Dropped Lee off about 15 min ago. Man, what a day. Great weather, great ride & great friends. We're going to have to get out & do this on a regular basis. Good meeting everyone yesterday. Had agood ride, even though the wife had wanted to go to the mtns. Oh well...there will be other days. Thanks guys for showing us around.

So where did ya'll end up riding?

 

They met with me at the state line on 521, from there we rode south on 521 to hwy9, then on to 21, was late picking someone up in Belmont so we took 21 to 77 N to 485 to 85 to Belmont, from Belmont we rode over to Logan's and had lunch, then back to Belmont, from Belmont we rode back to Monroe to pick up Red's better half, now it was time to eat again so we went up 74 from Monroe to Tumbleweeds (real good food) from there we went back up to an establishment on Freedom drive, then we all left to come home around midnight. All in all I thing we rode 200 - 250 miles, the weather was perfect and we had a real good ride. Redhawk and Silly left for a CBA meeting at 7am (or at least they should have) they are road warriors. Also found out there is a Sunday ride, every Sunday out of Vinny's @ 1:00, can't do it today already committed to a friend I would be at the Grand Opening party on Carowinds Blvd. All are welcome to stop by Rally's.

 

Ugh... I thinkeveryone knows by now thatI'm not a morning person. Meeting Redhawk at 7:00am was one of the hardest things I ever had to do. lol.. Especialy after the day/night we had Saturday. We didnt get home till after 1:00am.

Yoman, it was good riding with you again bro. I wondered when you guys where gonna have enough of these crazy bikers racing around town and stopping from 70 to 0 in 3 seconds only to zip across the median at high speeds. lmao... I'm sure you didn't mind but I'd bet your wife was poking you in the ribs. Mine does it all the time. The mountains would have been awesome too. I am always up for that. The mountains will be there next weekend, on the west coast.. waiting for us.

FKNDLX, I have to admit bro, I was surprised you stuck it out with us. Your a cool cat!!! I had a blast until I had the prego girl trying to rap to me (or get my money). lol.. We have to do this night again, soon!! You get those white walls cleaned? not me!

RedHawk, his wife, Me and my better halph walked around Sunday like zombies. We did the best we could to not crawl into a ball on the ground and go to sleep. The good news though... made the day worth while, we where approved and recognized as a chapter. We had been trying to open a CBA/ABATE chapter for the South Piedmont area. Yesterday it was voted on and we got a unanimous vote in our favor. w00t!!! Now we have to get to work.

P.S. orangecrush, bro man.. sorry I mssed your call. I'm not sure if I was either in the meeting or on the road at that time but I didn't recieve yourmsg till after I got back home yesterday. I hope you guys had a good time up in Charlotte. I'll try tostop by today and check you out. We got home last night and I hit the bed like a rock. My wife is a trooper! She was as tired as me yet she stayed up to do her mom/wifey stuff. She's too goodto me.

Road King. I was coming up behind it and I said to myself
man that looks like Lee on his Road King" When I got up
to it sure enough same color in fact almost the same
everything as your bike, but when I came along side to say
hello it was a woman riding it. Ishould have known at
6:30AM on the BRP by Asheville it could not have been
you.. LOL"

I had no idea there was two Road Kings that looked like
yours in NC. and of all things a woman owning the other
one...
