B what time are you leaving Friday???? You gotta stick around till Saturday you know.
We are hoping to make it out of Charlotte around lunch time if not ealier. We are loading the trailer tommorrow so we willhave it all done and ready to roll out. So that will put us there around 2-3 depending on traffic.
I got SOAKED riding into Charleston today !! They are calling for 70% chance of rain tomorrow. If you have rain gear, bring it, but it didin't help me a bit today. I have Frog Toggs and I got soaked. I really hope whatever storm is hanging around leaves soon. We're having a blast !!
We will be getting into MB later this afternoon and have plans to go to The Original Benjamins Seafood place. Anyone wanting to meet up and go, give me a call on my cell. You don't get me, please leave a message.
I posted this in another thread but wanted to post it here as well. It doesn't look like I'm going to make it down. With the rain it just kind of kills it. That and I'm thinking that saving money for the Keys trip is a good idea. There is also the fact that Erica can't go and we have been surgically attached at the hip LOL. Anyway, for those of you going to Daytona we will be there at least sat and sun and maybe Fri
hmm its too late now but maybe we should have picked an alternateplace that had enough room to party inside out of the rain...I want be on top of SBB standing in the rain..Maybe eveyone will go to hooters then we can plan a place of attack from there depending on the weather..Hasnt rained here all day,sun has even been in and out, Lumberton NC, not that far away, sucks to be raining during a rally..
Hey Meanbite,
Ride safe to the Key's and look me up in Daytona, will be therewith the bud's Wed. through Sunday.
I ride with the Bass Pro Shops 100 MPH rain gear han never have i been wet.
For those that can't make it all I can say is enjoy being dry and maybe next time. The rain has been hit and miss since late this afternoon with another big front coming through late tonight there is a chance the rest will start to break up. I've had a great time so far and have met a bunch of real good people. No HDF members yet though.
We spent the day at the N. Myrtle Beach Dealership after my buddies Street Glide had some problems. It started missing real bad then stalled out completely. The engine light came on after and that was all she wrote. you have to love all the fuel injection technology... Chalk one up for Harley's Road America program who towed it in and a big thanks to Dave Johnson and the service techs there for getting us fixed up and out of there with time to go out tonight still.
Amy, we are sticking around till Sat. so you and Mark need to bring sunshine and clear skies with you. Look forward to meeting everyone Friday.
Heading to Hooters for a kickin' chicken sandwich and then down to the old SBB to check on our tree again...
