Default Labor Day Week-end

Y'all decide if ya wanna ride all week end, I'm gonna do some serious miles, NO damn Curfews, ride, ride and more Ride.
As of now I plan to start off everyday at hwy 11 & 14, that can change as can where I go. But I'm goin, goin mostly where I wanna go, and stay gone all damn day, so if ya can hang with this Sporty Ridin' Ol Fart sign up, if ya aint able to hang all day, just plan to turn off or drop out where ever ya need to.
No Whinnin', No pissin' an' Moanin' just ride for the miles ya can and let it go at that.
Saturday
Leave 11 and 14 headed for 276, gonna pick up Hwy64 and ride over to 28 around Stecoah, NCand Ride the Cherohalla Skyway (Hwy143) to Tn 165 and Tellico Plains, Hwy 68 south from there to 294 to 129 to 64 to 69/76 to Clayton Ga, pick up War Woman Rd at Claytonand Hwy 28,Walhalla and then Hwy 11 from there back to the starting point at Hwy 11 & 14
400 mile day right there.
and that is just Saturday!

400 miles would put you almost to Indy. You should come and visit me instead!

******,
I guess from your post that Warwoman Rd. runs into Hwy 28?
I've been up Warwoman but never all the way through. 28 is good on it's on all the way until it dumps you out into Clayton. I've ridden in and driven cars/trucks all through that area my whole life, just never on a bike.
There are cool roads everywhere there. Heading towards Tiger and around the lakes, Betty's Creek Rd, etc., I need to get back there and refresh my memory a bit.
Can't say now what I'll be doin' come Labor Day weekend.
Hope to see ya and ride.

Hey Rah....thinking about heading that way with the kiddos. The kids want to see those mountains mom is always talking about. We would be camping probably near Deal's Gap.....maybe the Ironhorse Campground since it's only $15 per night. So if you don't mind us having the kids on the back we might be able to hook up with you. But that would mean no stops at any bars for us.

OOPS! Just checked the weather and it looks like 40-50% chance of storms all weekend. Guess we'll have to watch the weather and rethink this. [:@]

I'm not likin' the weather either. I'm probably going to ride a lot locally if possible so I can rack some miles up on the new bike. I need to get as close to 1k miles as possibleso I can have it broken in before my pipes and race tuner come in so I can have the bike Dyno tuned. If I get caught in the rain locally, I won't be far from home and I can save myself the trouble of washing the bike again. I wanna keep a towel off that vivid black paint as much as possible to keep it from getting swirl marks.

Yeah I can deal with a little rain but I don't think the kiddos are going to like it much.

Might as well leave it in the garage fulltime then.
