Hey all from Eastern VA. This cold wet weather has all but stopped me from riding and I am bummed because I just cammed the bike. (With a huge amount of help from my neighbor) Most times I limit myself to 35 degrees just in case of freezing roads. (I know... fair weather rider). I guess it is time for the winter projects on the car I have been putting off and a good bags off cleaning of the bike.
The project I have to start is replacing the carpeting and seats in a car that I have slowly been working on. I have gotten the drive train correct, now it's time for the interior. I have to stain the plastics (black. It is currently an ugly tan on the lower portions of the interior) I am making the whole interior black. I stumbled on two new (to me and in good shape) seats for free!!! Anyway... Just lamenting the weather. I hope everyone is well. Be safe out there and Merry Christmas. (Early)
I feel for ya. Snow is flying here in West Virginia and it's been in the low 30s all week.
Hoping for a dry cool day soon to take a short ride.
Bike has been sitting in the garage for a month and I'm already starting to go a little stir crazy.
Here's hoping for a quick winter.

Hell... it's just getting started here. But I agree... Hopefully it goes fast. On to my projects.
I was able to ride until early October. Winter is quite long here and most of the country has a much longer riding season. My Wyoming rides will have to wait a while.
"A monitoring station above Centennial in the Snowy Range recorded 65.5 inches of snow in 40 hours. Another monitoring station on the west side of the Snowy Range recorded over 75 inches over the same period. "
Looks like by the end of the week we supposed to get some rains which should wash off that brine and then weekend looks rideable with highs in 40 and 50.

I sure hope so. I would love to get a ride or two in this winter. Almost rode this morning but needed the truck for some things at work.
Rode yesterday... Didn't get the memo about rain in the afternoon. Started out at 9 degrees in the morning (Not bad) then about 55 in the afternoon. Again, I wasn't expecting the rain in the afternoon so got a little soggy. But I got out!!! Best to all.
