Well I don't know if you left yet but.....
Stan's bar in Goodland(actaully located out on Marco Island near Naples) is a blast on Sunday afternoons, if you are around that area on Sunday, don't miss it. I'm there almost every Sunday.

My one suggestion would be to take Rt 41 across the Everglades instead of Alligator Alley Rt 75. It's a little more relaxed and you'll b closer to any sites along the road. Gas up in Naples as it's about 120 miles across there. There are several air boat operations along the way too.
