My wife and I will be riding in from Daytona area over to Tampa area, down the west coast to the Keys, then back up the east side. Gonna be down in mid March. Any"must see" and how bout the "avoid these". Thanks
damn son ya got just about the whole state covered, good for you!!...not sure what you're into but check out both coasts, grab a sunset or 2 on the west side of the state...in the middle not to much other than some orange groves and cow pastures...lots of HD dealers and plenty of bike events in the state...check out www.borntoride.com or www.fullthrottleusa.com/florida/index.htm to get the latest info
while you are on the East side of the state keep an eye out for a shuttle launch. If you can be there for one, it is an awesome sight you won't soon forget.
Thanks for the links. Can you recommend any non mc must see ( if there are such things ) LOL
how bout the ringling museum/property in sarasota?
plenty of things to do in the keys not bike related. the "duval crawl" is an institution.
be sure to take the tamiami trail over from the west coast, plenty o gators and also smallest post office.
headin back north on the east coast, might want to check out "indian river drive" from jensen beach to port saint lucie - simply spectacular!

If you have time, go to the sponge docks in Tarpon Springs. Also, in St.Petersburg, there is the Salvadore Dali museum. You also have Busch Gardens in Tampa and Cypress Gardens.
You should checkout and stay the night at fishermans village in Punta Gorda. Nice mix of upscale and regular stuff. Right on the water with multiple bars, shopsand restaurants right in the complex. Safe and secure, well worth stopping at.
