Personaly, I believe it to be one of the best small bike rallies around. The down town area is closed off to cage traffic with only foot traffic and bikes allowed. I first found it in 2000 when I moved to the area and havent missed one since.

I haven't been to Leesburg's bikefest before but I'm looking forward to it. I know it was so popular with some riders in the county I live in that they started the Run to the Heartland which is at the end of September. It's a 3 day bikefest that's supposed to be fashioned after the one in Leesburg.

I went last year and got caught in the downpoor on the way home. I have never been more cold and wet in my life. 18 wheelers at 80mph in pooring rain on I-75 is a scary thing. I'm not sure if I'm going to go this year unless I go for just a day trip. This years is the first year of the Tampa bay Bikefest and it should be pretty good. Trotta and billy lane are supposed to be there as well as others. should be fun.

The wife and I will be riding in from Orlando .... She's on a V-Rod - I'm on a Springer Classic. My Vance and Hines pipes are on the way. Can't wait to hear 'em .... Been riding with stock pipes since July. Hope you get yours soon.

Have a safe ride over -
