Got bored riding to Leesburg Bikefest every year from Ft. Lauderdale. This year we went via the Smoky Mountains, Tazewell VA, Mountain City TN, Boone NC, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Route 16 south from Tazewell is niiiice! Elevation changes and twisties. Left on the 19th April and ended up in Leesburg on the 26th as planned.
Big props to The Kickstand Lodge. Motorcycles only campground, which we made our base. Mo and Kourtney are a riot. Very friendly, a good time had by all. If anyone's going soon, ask Kourtney about her Moonshine experience!
