The ol'lady and I took our first trip to 29 Dreams Motorcycle Resort this past Sat Afternoon. Only 85 miles from Tuscaloosa. If you haven't been there, it is freekin' awesome [sm=icon_rock.gif]. Built by a biker for bikers. A great place to stop and have a drink, listen to some music, and have some excellent food [sm=partyparty.gif]. If you live within a reasonable distance, you need to give it a try. It is very close to Birmingham/Leeds, AL. Here is a link to their website:
Been there done that. It is good. I was impressed but you can not take your kids there. Well worth the trip even from down here in Mobile. You need to try Iron horse Lodge in Stecoah NC. It will freak you out, It is great. With more roads than you twist the throttle on. You can make it up there easy from B'ham in about 4 h.5 hours. www.Ironhorsenc.com
