raleigh area roll call
Durham here, but pretty sure most of ya'll don't wanna ride on the streets in Durham... Before ya know it, you will be talking with that slow slow draw...drinking Sweet-ice-tea and eating sausage biscuits and grits... saying maters and taters.. next thing ya know you will be at a club party and havin a pig pickin!
Nice to hear the snowbirds love the area, Enjoy... but don't believe everything ya hear or somebody waving and smiling to be friendly all the time

I would love to go to a club party and ride with locals. It would be my honor!
I think most of the people are very friendly. There will always be a couple here and there in every state that have their own direction they like to walk in and that's fine by me. Most everyone I have ever dealt with in the south are great people and I have been here since '86.
Well, my band is going to be playing on Saturday, Aug 18, from 1pm - 5pm. We did the Car Show last year and they hired us to do the gig again this year.
Basically, they close off Fayetteville Steet from the capital going south and have all the cars on display on that street. The stage will be set up somewhere on the street.
If you like Classic Rock, Southern Rock, Blues and Gospel, come on down and check us out. I'll be the tall guy playing guitar and keyboards. If you do get a chance to come out, be sure to stop by the stage and say Hi!

Been riding for almost 30 years, but bought my first Harley (used) while going thru a divorce a couple years ago. It's an 05 Road King that I've logged almost 40K miles on in 2 years, including a Coast to Coast to Coast Iron Butt run in 93 hours!
