I was in the area and stopped at this State Park and seen there having some kind of bike and car show. I'm gonna be in that area during that weekend again, or at least about an hour and half away, so I thought about riding over to check it out. Anybody from the area ever been to one? Or it might be the first show, I don't know. I got the information below from the park web site.
September 29 - Wheels for Lungs Car and Bike Show at the Occoneechee State Park (1192 Occoneechee Park Rd, Clarksville, Virginia 23927-9449), On site registration is open from 8 AM to 11 AM, car show begins at 10 AM from 4 PM, rain date is Sunday September 30th. This is a car bike show which all proceeds will benefit the Lung Transplant Foundation. The event is open to all years, makes, and models. This is kid friendly oriented event for all car enthusiasts. There is a $3 parking fee to enter the park. The registration is $30. There will be a door prize, auction, and there is a 50/50 raffle which will also the benefit the Lung Transplant Foundation.
