We'll be heading down Thursday after work. The plan is to rally Friday and end up downtown Friday night. Get up Saturday and get some riding in. Gonna roll to Luckenbach maybe Fredericksburg for a little while. Head back to Austin and tool around downtown some more then head to the rally Saturday night to catch Skynyrd

Definitely going to be watching the drinking....bad place to be 0.08% and that only takes about 4 beers so everyone be careful out there.

A quick question for those who have been before.

I'm planning on camping at the fairgrounds and was wondering if I need to buy my ticket in advance or can I show up and buy it at the gate?

Also what would be the best day to arrive to get a good camping spot?

You can buy them at the gate, now as for arriving .......... no later than Thursday.
Most camping spots with shade trees around them will be gone the first day.
