Newbie question

I will be purchasing a 2008 Street Glide at the end of September. Is there a good mechanic/shop in the DFW area? I would like to also learn the basic maintenance procedures and be able to do work myself. In my past life, I have had many bikes and worked on them and cars and understand quickly but am just not familiar with the H-D's yet. Thanks for your help.

I live in the mid-cities area. Che at The Chop Shop is great. I have always been treated right and been happy with the work. The Chop Shop is in Euless.

i go to outlaw cycles in keller.i had the 5k maintanance done there,for 210.00 which included syntheticfluids throughout on my 05 fatboy.local stealership qouted 500. and would need my bike for at least a week.in and out same day at outlaw.(817)431-0111.talk to frank,a straight shooter who will take care of your bike.
