HDF NTR8 Completed
Thanks to Dogwood for helping me with the route. I changed the starting point based on most are from the Dallas side. I haven't done the first half yet, but I'm sure we can wing it. Subject to change based on the weather.

Starting point is behind the McDonalds on 75 Virginia/Louisianna exit in Mckinney. The first 5 rides started here. We meet at a small sshopping strip area and it is on the east side of hwy75. This ride is basically stopping when we can. I hate iron butt rides! Starting time is 10:00am. This is basically an all day event. Basically we are riding to Van Alstyne 121 to 35, 35 to Sanger and fm455 back to Melissa.

As described by Dallastx, it would be 106 miles.
For me in North Tarrant, it would be an extra 100 miles to get to the starting point and return from where it ends.
Dallastx, the info in my GPS was over 1 year old, I found out, so I ordered a software update yesterday.
It wasn't that bad though, we were looking for Smokin' G's BBQ, and found Smokey's BBQ just 2 block away.

That's a very good question! We ride in a full group in the staggered formation. Usually if it is more than 14 bikes, standard practice is to split into 2 groups so cagers can pass. I haven't run into that yet. You usually have a Road Captain and the rider with the most experience rides at the end. I prefer a Co-Captain behind me. They help me with ride issues and other things. The most important thing is the signals!!! Perfect example is NTR7. We ran into a hole in the road. It wasn't there in the test ride. Someone down the line didn't signal it to Rooster and he hit it pretty hard. Know your signals and pass them on! Riding with multiple riders is fun and I try to make every ride a safe, fun and enjoyable ride. I guess that's why I'm doing it again.

Don't worry Apex Rider, we'll put you near the back, but not the tail end, that way you can watch and learn.
