Going down on friday afternoon. Prolly hit the spot for dinner and head on over to the rally later. We have a group of eight to ten bikes going. Myself and wife, and about 10 others are spending the week-end at a friends beach house. Havn't heard of any group meetings.
for those of you coming in IH10 westbound from La a word of advice. there is a lot of road construction from orange all the way to beaumont, with some lengthy delays. espically during peak traffic hours.
a good alternate route is going west 10 take the hwy 62 (bridge city/port arthur) exit there at flying j(don't know the number) go south left under the interstate on hwy 62 (dead ends) when you reach hwy 87 turn right take 87 thru bridge city over Veterans bridge then continue west on 87 till you come to the winnie /houston exit which is hwy 73 follow that till u reach hwy 124 turn left(south) and follow that all the way to the bolivar ferry or 73 merges with IH10 follow it to 146 at mont belvieu.
we may ride down for the day. was kinda nice last couple times espically thur & fri,but sat & sun were really crowded.
I've got some friends riding in on Thursday and my wife & I will be riding in on Friday around noon. Staying at the Seascape Condo's on the west end of the seawall and friends are staying at a beach house just west of state park. If anyone comes up with a meeting place, please post. We're looking forward to meeting other forum members. My understanding is they are expecting somewhere in the neighborhood of 300,000 to 400,000 bikes this year. Should make for some interesting traffic situations. Hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend.
Sure, why not! I haven't been able to get much riding in here lately. We mostly stick close to home. I am hoping after the rally that the weather will be good and to have lots of time to get out and about.

Awesome! Look forward to it!
I went to the Hill country last weekend. Put on 950 miles. Came home full of butterflys! LOL Heading up to Killeen on Friday to see my son one last time before he deploys to Iraq. Going to take a couple of days to ride back home. De-stress and enjoy the scenery.
