Been taking some time off too - kind of a hard month. Mikk should have been coming home this next weekend - but was extended until Jan. Didn't think it would hit me hard, but had read a blog by a mom of one of his friends who was KIA mid December. Sent me into a boo-hoo. So taking it one day at a time......

Midland here. Grew up here. Went to college in Mesquite for 2 years. Inlaws have a lakehouse on the Pedernales River feeding into Lake Travis on 71. My dad lives in Terrell. Lived in Beaumont for 7 years when I was growing up.
