San Antonio here; originally from the NE part of the state, a little town named Pittsburg. Home of the Ezekial airship that flew the year before the Wright brothers. Damnyankeecarpetbaggerscalliwags stealing the credit again!
Just remember, without allies like Russia and Texas, America could never have won the Second World War!
San Antonio born and raised. I'm air force... thier are 72,984,001 air force bases in San Antonio and can't seem to get stationed at any of them![:@]
Not from SA originally, but retired here from the Air Force last year. We are down to 2 AF bases now: Kelly and Brooks have closed (BRAC). Lackland and Randolph are all that are left. Retired from Randolph, and since the wife is from Maryland and I am from California, we stayed in the middle. Cheaper to live and we both love it.

Well randolph is in a nicer area than Lackland. I grew up just south of downtown and then "up-graded" to living near lackland. Couldn't afford the places out in the Universal city area. You can keep the traffic out there though... if that's where you live!

Nah, live on the far north west side near Helotes. I work on the East side so my ride in the morning is 35-45 minutes, depending on how bad traffic is. Ride home can be an hour or so on a Friday, or less if school is out or it's a holiday. 410 flat out sucks because of all the construction, but my bike barks pretty good so people tend to know I'm there. 1604 is way too far and cagers drive like a$$holes, so I avoid it it. I live about 5 minutes from Hills and Dales, but I've never been there. When I graduate from school next month I am definately going to be out doing more things, unless mama adds to her todo list...
