Nah really not distance-wise, but that's a dangerous trip on two wheels after dark. Any way you go is going to be crawling with critters, big & small.

In the daytime thats one of my favorite day trips. Usually go to Yankees for lunch and a beer.

If you're looking for a nice little ride sometime, check out the Backwoods Bar & Grill. Had the best burgers we have ever had there, and great desserts too. Beautiful ride through some of the Sam Houston Nat Forest.
