I went into my friendly neighborhood HD dealer to see about buying a very used Sportster... something in the $5K - $6K range. Basically a toy to play with while I ride my Fat Bob.

Rode out on a new 2015 Street Glide... so I might have spent a bit more than I originally planned.

That's kind of how I ended up with the FLHTKL. Stopped by Bedford to look at one of the new custom colors ..........Rest is history.

Thats where I bought mine too.
I live less than 3 miles from that dealer and they have always treated me well, so I give them lots (most) of my money.

I just joined that HOG group too...

How funny .......... I did the same. Been a life member of the national HOG. First time I've ever actively enrolled in a local chapter.
