There's quite a few websites that have reviews, so 'google' it & see
what they have to say & what they recommend.

During the Austin ROT Rally we rode out to Leakey and stopped for a drink at the Frio Canyon Motorcycle Stop, then rode the FM337 -FM335-SH41-FM336 back down to Leakey. It was great. We rode it on a weekday and there was no traffic to speak of. We passed I think two farm trucks on that run and the other bikers we saw were at rest stops. I suspect on weekends you'd have to watch out for the sport bike riders.
Some things to consider: Some of the 3 Sisters roads get narrow and Ranchers in the area haul trailers on these roads. There are a couple of blind turns where you should slow and stay in your lane. There are some roller coaster whoop-de-dos where you cannot see on coming traffic.
From DFW, to get to the 3 Sisters you could take 67S to 281S to 46W (north of San Antonio) 46W turns into 16W.
At Medina take 337W to Leakey. At that point, if your not ready to head back home, go ride the 3 Sisters.
South of Dallas riding down towards Glen Rose is nice.
South of Dallas riding down towards Lake Whitney is nice.
Texas has some pretty good farm to market roads (FM). I like to grab a paper map and starting from home follow back-roads out to other destinations, before doing online research. Enjoy the Ride!
