Default My 67 Ironhead

I am new to Harley but not entirely new to motorcycles. This was my brothers bike and he rarely rode it due to its condition. I got it after he died in a car accident. It looks like a fury girder but not sure. One of the issues I am battling is flop. Looking at the triple trees the stem is not long enough because the links are not parallel. Hopefully this is an easy fix and kills the flop. It is currently being restored. I know it was built in San Antonio on a Paughco frame but thats all I know. To me it's the epitome of the word chopper. What do you think?

That's "Easy Rider" stuff! Good looking bike, and I hope you're able to solve the flop issue. There's nothing like an old school Ironhead, and you have a fine example there of the mods that were prolific in the late 60's - early '70's! Too bad not enough of the Ironheads survived that don't need a total dis-assembly and complete rebuild. They require almost continual maintenance, but they're a blast to ride and I'll never let go of my '77...

Nice looking old chopper. I rode this 64 Panhead with a springer front end back in the day.

Everyone please help me figure out which tank to put on her. My buddy has one off of a 48 but I'm thinking otherwise. I would like 4 gal capacity, thought about fat bobs but not sure. Looking at a Paughco tank. Your imput is appreciated.

Rad bike! Maybe a coffin tank or frisco. Anything too big will look out of place.

That's a nice chopper.. I'm sorry for your loss..

I'd go with the tank in the older picture. IMO, those are the best looking sportster tanks
