After getting a nice tax refund (having kids help!), I am considering making a mod or two (depending on cost) to my bike. I have a 2004 883XL that is pretty much stock except for having the typical "taxes" paid and some extra chrome here and there.
However, I'mconsidering making a mod to effect my riding comfort. I'm thinking about either changing the handlebars or adding forward controls. I'll do both eventually, but I'm curious....

Where would you suggest to shop and for what brand/model?
I'd do the FwCntrls first. Those are mostly all the same, bars can vary a ton (drags to apes). Get your feet where you want them, then decide where you want your arms.
