Default Brass for my 48!!!!! HELP!

I've been craving some brass on my sporty and got some foot pegs from speed dealer customs - GreAT pegs but they won't fit my 2013 48 the insert is too short and will not fit into the offset clevis. I've been scouring the internet to find someone who does and I really can't locate anyone who makes it for my sporty......aaaaarrrrgh!!!!!!! Does anyone have any suggestions? Or have had this done and installed 100% with a perfect fit? It's driving me mad and I've been having dreams of brass lately.....must find a solution soon. Please help o great forum!!!

Solution is simple, get out a grinder and grind the offset clevis down until it'll allow the peg to fit. That's what I did as well as several others before with the same issue. It's easy.

Best way to do is grind it. It takes 2 minutes and if you know what you're doing nobody would even know.

You already have a set in your hands that you cant use no better time then the present for you own creativity. Be a leader take pics and lead you other fellow 48ers to the promise land.

If I'm not mistaken you can simply replace the clevis with the clevis off of other models but I don't feel like looking it all up.

Here's an example of a 48 clevis that's been grinded, most people will never even notice the difference.

Grind it and be done, like others have said it takes 2 mins to do. The price of the older clevis would be more then buying a brand new hand grinder and flapper disc.

Like others have said, you can grind down your clevis to where your current pegs will fit. Or, you can get pegs that do fit with the 48 clevis.

We have a couple different selections of brass pegs that you can see at this LINK.

Brass Knuckle Pegs

Solid Brass Honeycomb Pegs
