Default Nighster grips/passenger pegs

Just bought an 08 Nighster with a few aftermarket parts, including silencer style grips and footpegs, and vance and Hines short shots.
I think it would be cool to pull off the silencer grips and pegs and paint them black, how do you pull off your left handgrip?
Also, adding passenger pegs, will I have to remove the short shots to get the mounting bracket on?
Any input would be much appreciated!

Im not familiar with that brand I quicky googled it and they look like swiss cheese either rounded end or spike. Check for a allen head set screw possibly 2 of them its generally that easy for left side.

Ok thanks! I haven't pulled anything yet, but the videos I saw all showed cutting rubber grips, which obviously these are not. But thanks again!
