Updated the original post with better pics taken at work... Also this fairing is holding up pretty well after roughly 700 miles on it so far. Most of them have been at highway speed of 80+mph. All in all I am pretty happy with how the whole thing has turned out.

I was in Greensboro/ Raleigh area last weekend. 26 degrees Sunday morning, a lot colder then South Texas. NC has great roads though.

Yeah. Mornings here are cold but the temperature reaches in 70s by late afternoon. Also I second your thought on NC roads.

Thanks! It's pretty much where I wanted it to be so I am kinda going through the withdrawal symptoms right now as to what should be the next change. My wife is happy though as I am not spending as much time in garage anymore.

But I hear ya .... ordering the different relocation kit that moves the turns signals to fork brace bolts.

Thanks for the really good feedback and heads up.

Don't worry about it, it'll never compress that far.
I strap my front end down when drag racing and there's still 2"+-
of room left.

Nice additions kingxirol. The fairing looks good and I like the mirrors. Could be me but looks like on the garage pic, the turns might need re-aiming. Looks like they're point up slightly.

I took the Sporty for a ride yesterday. Had to take advantage of the 80* in Salisbury. Here's a pic showing the relo kit on the lower bracket. Looking for shorter mounts as these stick out a bit for me.

Thanks for the info blueracer. Now that's a relief as I won't have to worry about them.

Yes sir. I screwed up on pointing the front turn signals while mounting the fairing in the garage. Have fixed it since then. Updated pics in the original post show the current position. Also you are right about the HD fork mounts. They stick about 3" out which to me looks a little odd (they look like Yamaha V-Star fronts ).

Nice ride Kingxirol! I like it a lot better with the fairings lower....but I am a low-rider kind of guy. I initially thought you must be a tall guy to see over those fairings....lol. Good job on your upgrades!

It's amazing what a difference a couple of inches can make. Looks much better with the fairing lower on the headlight. And the best part is you didn't have to cut anything up and that's always nice.
