Default Footpegs/ controls

Hi all,
My wife picked up her new 1200C on friday, replacing the 3 yo one she part exd. Now heres the thing, at 5'1" she always seemd to be stretching to reach the forward controls so as a "treat", (I'm so thoughtful ), I asked the sales guys to install the reduced reach bracket that would bring the foot controls back, say about 2"....Great job, but, the next thing is that this kit also pushes the footrest peg out about 1/2" which she now finds uncomfortable as her feet are skewed, ( ever wish you hadnt started something ?)

No problem I thought, I have a pair of straight front pegs of a Dyna or something and I know for a fact they fit on the other sportster so I will do a swap and hey......they dont fit.....thing is they dont physically fit the bracket which is a first for me as I never had a proble swapping Harley pegs over previously.

So question, (is it obvious .. ?), is anybody aware of a straight footpeg that a) fits a 2015 1200C and b) is it a shorter length peg than that on the same bike?

Jusy throwing it out there...
Thanks
R

Hey Mate,
My 2011 XL1200X had the offset clevis, is this what you are saying about the 1200c?? if so, I just ground down the extra length so that any after market peg would fit.

Hi thanks, that sounds like a simple but almost genius idea ).

The clevis has one side longer than the the other so In guessing i could fit one that has equal arms or as you say grind one down.

Thanks again, ride safe.
