i put on a set of old OEM foot pegs. however, because the diameter is greater then the previous chrome foot pegs i lost toe room between the peg and the toe shifter.
i tried to adjust it today by lengthening the adjustable link between the toe shifter and the actual gear shifter (see picture). this did not work out AT ALL, as it screwed up the whole thing "N" light was on couldn't find any gear, it was hard to work the shifter (it was a worrisome mess) ... fortunately i left the lock nuts at their old position so i put it back the way it was and everything works well.
however, i still need a bit more toe room how does one raise the toe shifter justa about a 1/4" or so?
