My ride was geared toward cafe style originally but the tank is too high for me and doesn't line up with the rear of the bike so I just wing it now and go for what I like...
Looking good. I'm too old for the low bars. I'm not that old, but too old for those things.

I have to agree that my bike would look weird but it sure would be unique. That being said I'm leaning towards the 13" shocks and I think they will be more practical. 15" might be going a bit too far. I wish I could find a pic with a stock fender and 15" shocks just to see what it looks like...

You could always cut your fender.
Eventually you will anyways. ..

Mine were from RYCA Motors, but not slotted.

I saw those on amazon.
Thanks to you I saw some on burly brands website and they were slotted for wiring.
Like you I'm still trying to find perfect setup with the bars and am going to try clubman bars since I tried drag bars and didn't like it too much.
Also curious as to how tall you are and how you like the rear sets. You say their adjustable up or down ? I'm 6 ft and am concerned how I would like them. I use the passenger foot pegs when on the highway and like the agressive riding position.

I really like the rearsets. Mine are from Chainsikle. I'm 6'1". My knees are a bit lower than they would be on mid controls, which give a better lean-forward position.

Clubman bars weren't for me because they are way too low for every day riding. I then tries drag bars, which were OK, but too narrow. They pushed the brake hose and clutch cable against the fairing. I settled on Biltwell MX style bars and they turned out perfect. Just slightly lower than the stock bars, but nowhere near the pullback or wrist angle.

The bike is more tracker than café with these bars, but I still like the look.

I think I'm gonna pick up a set from chainsickle as well. I'm a inch shorter than you so I should be ok..still contemplating the burly stilettos or the progressive 444's though. I just had a bad experience at 75 mph on the highway and just not sure which shock would be best..I'm sure the burly ones are better than stock but wondering how much better the progressive 444 ones are over the burly s wish I knew someone with the burly on their bike so I can test them
Thanks for the feedback...

No doubt about it, the 444 is a better shock. The addition of the secondary spring on the Burly shock makes it perform better than a standard 412, but they are not as good as a quality oil or gas shock. If they had a 444 in 15", I'd buy them.

Guess I'm going with the 444's.....
