I absolutely hated my Michelin Scorchers scared me half to death. Wet or dry. Thank goodness I got them off now. I commute everyday on a road that is grooved and them Scorchers had a mind of there own. An if it was wet SLOW down. It was very un nerving. Ahhh but my new Metsler Road Tec's Very nice wet or dry hug the road much better. I had a bit of a hard time finding the right tires as most don't make tires for the 883 L

Front
120/70-18
Rear
150/60-17 I got a 160/60-17 now

Of course, chicane was for Michelin teams only - because they had the trouble with high speed turn.

Michelin had a choice to let their teams to race and keep up the show or withdraw their teams. They made the selfish choice to shut down the show.

Only one race? How many times you want to be cheated on before you divorce?
You got your facts backwards in regards to who rejected the chicane idea. Because the chicane idea was denied ( by Max and Bernie), two thirds of the teams decided not to race because of safety concerns after the serious wreck of Ralf Scumachers on the last turn before the straight. The Indy management had no problems in adding the chicane if approved. Do some research on that and you will see. Anyway we can discuss that issue in another forum.
