Do they make anything to raise the stock handle bar riser on my 2014 Sportster ?
I'd be so much more at ease if the bar was about 1 inch back toward me.
I already made this mistake, so just be aware. Depending on your gauge mount, pull back risers may not work for you. I have the gauge mount from a Seventy-Two and bought 3 x 1 pullback risers. They rotated the angle of the gauge so that it was pointing towards the tank. NG. Also if you have a Custom, with the enclosed riser and under slung gauge, I don't know if anyone makes a riser extension.
Why not loosen the clamp and rotate them a bit your direction...be careful & check tank clearance...this mod's "free."
Thanks, I've rolled them about as far as I dare. I think an inch higher would allow me just enough to make it more comfortable.
Anyone ever try something like this under the stock riser ?http://www.ebay.com/itm/Harley-fatbo...e3aa64&vxp=mtr
I' looking at doing the same thing for my '14. What puzzles me is it looks like there are no stock risers, just handle bar cradles. All of the risers I've seen are round and bolt down from underneath the triple tree. I won' be able to do that. Are there risers for this configuration or will this be more involved than it should be?
Another problem if you use a pullback riser. The speedo also twists with the riser so its more upright and makes it harder to see for taller riders to see it.
