DK Customs 2" Forward Control Ext. - Licks 8" Bars
Just finished up installing both on my 2015 Forty Eight. The installs were simple
and both turned out great. I did purchase a 6" longer brake cable from Magnum Shielding. The bars come already dimpled and knurled (sorry for the poor pics I took them at work).
How do you find the rear brake working for you since its not moved fwd too?
I have DK's Slip Stream trap pegs which are already a little forward of stock and it looks like If I add the extension then my foot might be hitting the brake pad in the arch of my foot.
Not that I use the rear much anyway
I actually removed the brake rod, cut it down and re-drilled to position the rear brake lever where I wanted it. No issues with rubbing or hitting anything.
