Question Bike returning to my house today!

Have had my sporty in at HD for some warranty work, stator and voltage reg needed to be replaced... Thank god for warranty! Have a set of passenger pegs to bolt up when it gets home, and will be looking to get some mini apes for this years season. Quick question.. Rather than replacing the whole front brake lines(ABS equipped), has anyone tried taking the upper to a hydralic line shop, and having it extended? HD say's this is not possible, but I tend to think it is. Just not into spending the $350 for a new set of brake lines. Everything else is long enough that it can be re-routed with the exception of some of the wiring, which I already have the extension cables.

Any insite??

Cheers!

Ron.

Welcome from North Carolina.

Nice looking 48, but wow, electrical stuff gone bad already? I have the SEII mufflers on my Sporty and I like the sound.

The peanut tank makes the 48, but I agree the low fuel isn't good. You could swap to the Iron tank.
