two items here look them over. one is from the ED manual and the other is from the service manual. pick up a service manual when you get a chance, they a 60 new at the dealer and can also be found on secondhand.
Maybe a dealer will give you some free advise. Harley should've stayed carb. That's the EPA for ya.
I bought a sportster with EFI and ended up putting lots of dollars into it to make it run better. Well, I found a low mile carbureted 1200 so I bought it! And the EFI Sportster is getting sold. The dealer told me they could not guarantee that they could cure the off idle surge, even at $450! Guess us riders have to be re-educated on how these epa mandated lean-burn bikes run......crappy! Ain't this a beautiful country?
This is my first efi bike and its already has me scratching my head. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have time to see what I can do to get it going. I think I may stick with the carb bikes myself.
If you just put gas treatment in the tank, of course it will take some time before it gets into the carb. I remember my '04 was fussy if I did not have fuel stabilizer in it when starting it after sitting. It would crank and crank and crank and not fire. But yours is a different beast with EFI. Good luck.

Ok guys sorry for absence. I work for family and it's crazy hours! So,I turned the key over ten times in a row and it started right up! I'm use to carb bikes so I never dreamed turning a key over ten times would make it start, but I'm learning about these electronic bikes. Now it's only hitting on one cylinder but I'm sure it's just an injector or plug/wire. Thanks so much for the help everyone! This forum is the best thing out there! A bunch of bikers from all over the place putting their heads together kicks ***!
