I have been running a Hypercharger on my Evo since 1993. Is it better than stock? Yes. Better than some of the others, can't tell you.
Haven't noticed any high speed issues with it, but I rarely ride above 70mph.
I like the charger because it's small and makes easier access to the carb for tuning, float bowl removal and changing jets without taking the aircleaner off.
The hypercharger is better than the stock A/C , and a little better than the S/E at higher speeds , but worth it? I put mine on just for the looks , and it does cost a pretty penny. If I were going from stock to something else , I'd say yes, but if you already have the S/E or something equivalant ,I wouldn't waste the money.
i like the looks of them, but still havent thought it was worth the investment because everyone who has them doesnt say there was any kind of improvement
i have the twin velocity by kuryakyn. i did the research on both. imo the hypercharger is alotof drama. it does work andit is a high flo air cleaner. it gives the impression of a blower so some folks think it produces more hp than it can. i like the quality of mine but did not want the moving parts. hope it helps.
