Dk customs sells a bracket setup that bolts in where the forward controls normally would.
I'm running a similar set up on my dyna and love it, and there is Also the Bung King crash bar that bolts in there that doubles as a highway peg that is available for both dynas and sportsters, which I am considering getting myself.
Just swap to forwards. I traded with my buddy for his 72 forwards fifth my Iron mids. Wasn't sure at first but after a few rides I liked them better then mids.
Thank you all for your help and taking the time to respond.
I've got a bunch of stuff in my DK cart anyways so I will give them a call Tuesday - couldn't find the kit on their website.
I've been wanting an Iron for years, especially when in Daytona for Biketoberfest and Bike Week as it's a fun little bar hopper. However, riding it 3.5 hours back from where I bought it yesterday sure made me appreciate the Road King!
Should have never sold the Street Bob ... it was the best of both worlds but I'm happy with this pair and will be happier once I get the Iron squared away for my tastes.
I have a SuperLow with a crashbar, but that is too far away for my legs to reach. I bhave the same peg kit as hscic, adjustable to three different locations. Looks neat and works fine.
