That is what I was thinking but it probably isn't the wisest idea. Someone could grab it in a fire situation and we really would have a "BOOM". Maybe the top could be cut off and tapped to use a short pipe nipple to screw the top back on. If the fire extinguisher valve would work with a corrosive liquid like petro maybe it could be used by just tipping the bottle upside down. I could then paint it and make it appear to be something other than a fire extinguisher. My Sportster is OD green in a military theme so maybe it could be painted to match. That sucker must weigh ten pounds empty but it will hold about .89 gal.

The bottles back packers use for carrying stove fuel will work too. If to expensive, could use the caps. The replacement ones look just like the ones that come with ur stainless bottles but of different materials
Bought this the other week. Other than the gas nozzle spewing gas everywhere over my bike when I tried to fill it the first time, its been perfect! 20oz fits in my swing arm bag too. $15.96 shipped. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...=ATVPDKIKX0DER
Cheap too

I looked at MSR too, but I wanted a larger fuel bottle, and the 30oz. bottles are about $25 plus shipping. 20oz. will get me about six miles down the road, 30oz = about 8.7 miles and 1 liter will get me 9.5 miles down the road.
