fairing fitment question

fairing fitment question
I have a custom front end that uses a wide glide sized triple tree but the original 39mm fork tube size for a sportster.
I have been eyeing this fairing

I plan on purchasing this mounting kit

does anyone forsee any problems? this set up should work eh?

Not necessarily, that kits made for the MS Gauntlet. So it may require some fabbing of parts to make it work. Or maybe just some adjusting and finding good drill points in the fairing will work. But if you're handy, you should be able to make it happen either way. The MS mounting kit is really nice quality as well. It mounts up very secure.
PanHeadRich is right you would have to do fair amount of fabwork to make it work.
If I could make one suggestion, do NOT buy that kit in the link.That is a fake Chinaknockoff. We are PROUDLY Made in the USA! Made in Memphis - raw materials in, finished goodsout. There are a number of reputable Memphis Shades' dealers on ebay, most of which are small businesses.
