I've seen the instructions on their website. It felt more like great pointers, but doesn't really tell you the step by step (take this bolt off, remove this, remove that)

I've seen the haynes manuals before for cars. I would not use that thing to work on a project like this. Curious how good the service manual is.

Damn good pointers. If you are installing a Hammer kit, you can't do it properly without them. Different torque specs on the head bolts for sure. Follow the service manual will strip some bolts for sure. Different timing for us old timers.

I have a factory service manual. and the Hammer pointers. I have been turning wrenches a long time. restored British sports cars back in the day. Built many old pan heads in my back yard in the 70s. Had not one problem taking the engine down. Don't expect any going back together. Oh yeah, I'm 72 years old. Lost a step or two but still very capable.

Yep! I never suspected you would have any issues. Most of this stuff to us old wrench's is just second nature.

Yeah, I will take more pictures. I'm not in a big hurry. I will take some pictures as I put it back together. Then I got to put the energy 1 clutch in and the 38 tooth primary sprocket in. I've already programmed the ecm for the 1250 build.

Yep. I was going to ask about the clutch. Mine didn't need it as it is an ole '96 and had the man clutch. I guess it was what, '04 when they put the girl clutch in? Keep the pics coming brotha.

You might want to run it and drive it some between jobs, makes diagnosing a problem easier if something is wrong, JMHO.
